Use AJA Io to capture HDV
I get suggestion to capture HDV 1080p 25fr from Canon XL H1 via AJA Io to ProRes.

I will shoot with this camera and final maser must be SD PAL digi betacam
I do not know how can I capture HDV with Io, thru SDI or? What setup is for FCP and Io?Thanks

The Canon XL-H1 is an HD camera with analog audio outputs (no embedded audio). The AJA I/O is the wrong box. You need the AJA I/O HD, or the AJA Kona LHe. Once you capture and edit your show, you can instantly downconvert to SD-SDI for Digi Beta.
