USA GH4 in UK? Any reason not to get USA model?
I am in the process of getting a GH4 and I am in the UK. I am thinking of getting the USA model as it does not have the 30min record limit. I Gather all the GH4s do PSL&NTSC and all frame rates, is this correct. Is there any reason I should not get the USA version?

Hi Ben,
I have a GH4 and it will setup for 59.94 (NTSC) Hz, 50.00 (PAL) Hz or 24.00 (Cinema) Hz, with all the available frame rates dependant on the ‘System Frequency’ (NTSC, PAL Cinema) it is set for.
In addition to the shipping, insurance, cost, etc., how would the USA warranty effect you. I would be inclined to contact B&H Photo (or similar USA dealer) and consult with them on a purchase.

I was actually talking used. From eBay tax is also an issue. I realise the warranty would not be valid.
I ended up deciding due to the eBay Global Shipping issue and input duty it simply was not worth it.

Why don’t you get the Panasonic GH4R model – then you get unlimit recording time and V-Log L ?
You can buy the GH4R in UK – look at cvp.com !
