  US2 slows down during multicam of long piece

  have about 3hrs45 on timeline. V7, US2. As more command markers have been placed on the timeline, the insertion of the markers has slowed down, to where it takes about 2+ secs to insert one. playback pauses etc, while Vegas does its thinking

  is this common?

  if so, any ways to increase speed? Not in the market for US3 right now. Don’t know if Excalibur does it any differently, efficiency-wise.

  SD footage on E6600 with 2GB
