April 7, 2007 at 12:34 pmI forgot to mention that if you don’t like one of our interfaces, try one of the two others we support. You can change the way the interface behaves by using the “Display Posts As…” pulldown found just below the host pictures on any of our forums.
We support three popular styles of presenting the posts: one, our default threaded view; next, the topical view that many prefer; last, a date-centric presentation that pulls the posts from their threads and presents them based on when they are made.
Next week, the interface changes but the core functionality and the various modes of presenting the data will remain a part of the new interface.

April 7, 2007 at 4:32 pmI appreciate the kind words, thank you. It was a lot of work but we really wanted this issue to open people’s minds to what is happening in this industry right now and to give them some examples, tools and means, along with some ways that people can take advantage of this huge opportunity.
I am glad that you liked it. Thank you again for the kind words.

It’s quite possible that your mpeg video is flagged somehow at 24p. What kind of footage is it? If it is 24p, and you’re editing on a 29.97 timeline, or vice versa, it’s possible that on a frame-by-frame conversion, the media is getting out of sync. Try playing with the properties box (Alt-Enter) to see if changing the timeline’s layout (from 29.97 to 24p, or vice versa) makes a difference.
Just a guess… who knows?

April 10, 2007 at 2:40 amI just watched closely & figured out that its not just out of sync, but that the video is actually playing quite sped up, while the audio stays at the right rate of speed.
So, no matter how much I syncronized, it would never be right.Any ideas?
