Urgent – issue with SXS card

I’ve had this problem with a card here as well, where it would stop at 79% and not be recognisable thereafter. What I did was use a Sony card reader with one of our computers and deleted the partition so that there was nothing whatsoever on the card.

Then I reinserted the card into an EX1 camera and initialised it as per usual. Worked right away.

Well. The good news is ITV got it sorted. The bad news is indent know what sorted means and they didn’t answer my question as to loaning the equipment in future :/

I am also very disappointed that even with Ian’s intervention, I still have not heard back from Sony. The only response I had was posted previously.
