upscaling SD(720×480) to HD(1440×1080)
I have been trying to upscale footage using compressor 3. i have read all the threads on this and i have watched the video tutorial posted by Shane Ross. once compressor completes the action and i click on the upscaled clip it says that it’s not a movie file and will not let me open it. Does anyone know why?
i shot this project using several different cameras. all i want to do is make the SD footage widescreen to match the HD footage with as little distortion as possible. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What codec and resolution is your HD footage?
What are your settings in Compressor, it is hard to tell you what are doing wrong if you don’t list what you did.
