    Hello

I’m in the process of onlining a show shot on the HDcam. Just two quick questions
    1) What is the best format to uprez the material to? thinking Kona 1080i 10 bit uncompressed… if anybody knows something better let me know
    2) Also, is there anyway around capturing the selected clips other than media managing the entire project and then uprezing from there? Like the capture option in the right click window…?

    Cool. Thanks

What format did you shoot? That goes a long way into determining what you need to deliver.

    Wait…hold on…

Shot on HDCAM..then it is HD already. Now I am confused….uprez to what? What did you capture as initially? DVCPRO HD? DV? Oh, and NOW you need to capture full res? Ah…

Back to my first question, what format did you shoot?

NOt that I know of. That is one of the primary reasons the Media Manager exists, to create a sequence that you use to capture only the footage used in the cut.
