  Upresing Previere vs Resolve vs After Effects

  Hi, been reading up on upresing and I know the best option is the hardware one but we don’t have the budget so was wondering what I could do with what I have.

  The project is edited in FCP 7.

  AE seems the best option but it is a 1 hour film so I would imagine it would be a lot of work. I am also wondering if it should be done on a clip by clip basis or can I just take the whole film as a single file (without burnt in captions).

  The other big question I have is is Resolve or Premier a better option, I have PP CC 2015.1.

  The main reason I want to upres is so the titles looks better. Its SD footage mainly. It actually looks quite good on a big TV as is was shot with good glass but the titles don’t look great.

  I know there are plugins but for now want to go with what I have. When we get a proper distribution we can revisit this, currently we are looking at film festivals.
