They mention the front camera is optimized for Facetime and hence can have odd framerates. Use the rear camera to record 1080P video.

Well, they are now. Something has changed. Hardware? OS? new drivers for GPU? Software updates? Space on your PC? If you can’t tell us what you’ve done to your PC we’ve less of a chance to assist.

O…K…. Could you document the changes you’ve made to you PC in those 9 months? If you can, post ’em here. If you can’t, then in all honesty, the likelihood is that we’re not going to be able to assist you.
I have Vegas working well, with mixed media and a a fairly comprehensive set of GPU intensive Plugs.

July 4, 2017 at 10:52 amHaving same problem editing old IVTC footage – background goes green and when track layer above is at 0% preview flickers between the two tracks
Seen this before and I’m pretty sure it was related to the Quicktime codec so will uninstall and install an older version to see what happens …

November 20, 2018 at 4:08 pmI have been looking for a solution for this. I encountered this problem when combining the recordings from 2 different devices in the same project. The resolution/frame rate etc weren’t the same. This is in sony vegas 14*. Only the video I ha just recorded and added turned up green and the video I had edited before in sony vegas was intact.
To fix the issue I tried everything suggested in here but this seems a bit excessive to do. What worked for me and, is fast to do, is to download a video format converter (I am currently using the Handbrake software) and slightly change the properties of the video. I personally had to edit resolution and frame rate to match the values of the video I had already edited in sony vegas.
Hopefully this helps some folks like myself who couldnt find a solution for this anywhere and who have tried the renaming of the plugin which did not work.
