I’m trying to get the best possible quality for a video I’m trying to upload to You Tube. I shot and edited my footage on Final Cut Pro 6 using HDV. Any suggestions for export? Thanks

How big is your video if you export a self-contained QT movie? If it’s under 2GB just upload that version, it will take a while, but it’s the highest possible upload you’ll achieve since you didn’t have to compress it.

Yeah, duh – that makes sense. My file was actually under 2GB. Although it took hours to upload to You Tube the project looked great. Thanks for hitting me w/ some common sense. It’s easy to overthink when dealing w/ HDV sometimes.
