I have a Mac running Panther now and I want to upgrade it to Tiger. I like to do a complete erase and install when doing major OS upgrades like this but the problem is that the only full version of Photoshop I have is Ver. 4. So, when upgrading the OS and re-installing all my apps. I need to install OS9 classic-install Photoshop 4-then upgrade that PS4 to Photoshop 7. (All my versions from 4 to 7 are all upgrades, not full versions.)
Is there a faster way to do this? A way without having to do a classic install? Can I just put the Photoshop 7 disc in and get it to run some how?

You have to call adobe there is a special id tag you need. They did this to stop people from selling there old versions of photoshop with the upgrade instead of simply buying a new full version. Its a quick call and they are very nice.
