    Upgrading to FCP 5.1.4- Is it free?

    I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I can download the 5.1.4 version of FCP. Is it a free upgrade? I’m having trouble with the Mac site and need the upgrade ASAP to begin digitizing in HD. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Click on the Apple Logo in the upper left and click on software update.

    This checks all the Apple software on the computer to see if there are updates available.

    And yes if you have 5.1 it is free, if by chance you really have 5.0 it is not free.
