Upgrading to Decklink card for Reslove from Aja LHe.
I want to start using Resolve Lite on my Mac Pro. I have an AJA LHe card that not only isn’t supported for Resolve but also wont be supported for new Premiere CS6 coming soon.
So its upgrade time and I need to get a Decklink card that supports both. Do I need the top of line Decklink card? I’m not getting a controller for Reslove.
I haven’t been editing or shooting anything other than HD but with all the 4K cameras coming out I probably should be ready for it. My external monitor is HD.
Any advice on which models give a good balance of performance and value would be much appreciated.

First thanks for putting this in the appropriate forum.
If you look in the config guide the recommended card is the decklink extreme 3d. This is the flagship card. It’s got analogue, sdi & hdmi I/o. Supports 444, 2k & 3d. It’s very robust and works really well with resolve.
I’d recommend the extreme 3d..
Soon they will ship the decklink 4k, the advantage of this is that it will support 4k res. but has very limited I/o options.
It will cost 600.The decklink studio is 300. But only supports 4:2:2 hd and no 3d.
My strong recommendation is to stay within the resolve config guide parameters and use the extreme 3d card. However all of the decklink cards should work.

didn’t get all the way into the config guid and of course its on the last few pages. Looks like I will get the flagship card. I don’t think the 4K card will be what I need a this time.
