UPGRADING FCP 6 to 7
I’ve edited a project in FCP 6. Now I want to install the FCP7 upgrade, but keep working on the project. Has anyone experienced problems, opening projects edited in 6, in FCP 7?

i’ve recently installed FC 7 and no problem opening the FC 6 projects.

no problem with the upgrade here on Leopard. On the snow Leopard machine I did a nuke and pave, then installed SL and then FCS3. No problems at all.
Non-linear: all the time and nothing but.

Upgrading in the middle of projects scares me. I never do it.
That said… Since upgrading to FCP 7(last month) I’ve had to open/work on several FPC6 project and haven’t run into any problems.

Scares the life out of me too- but I’ve got overlapping projects, and the upgrade sitting there- its now or never! Thanks for your info Guy
