upgrading confirmation required…
I’m just working out my latest upgrade wishlist and needed some confirmations from the good folks in the pastures.
I currently have a Quad G5 with an Aja Kona3 and an Apple dual Fibre channel card installed. Will both of these cards transplant painlessly into the brand new MacPro?

As long as all cards are PCIe cards, they will work just fine in a new Mac Pro. Seems to me that they are PCIe in all the Quad G5’s too…

The G5 Quad is, indeed, PCIe. Your Kona 3 will work just fine- that’s the same card that AJA is recommending for the Intel Macs. I’d expect the FC card to work as well, but you might want to check with Apple, 1st.
