I am making the leap. Bought a new MAC. Can I run FCP 7.0.3 on the same machine?

Though I wrote a very popular Cow article explaining how to create a multi-partition boot drive for avoiding putting them on the same boot drive, you can in fact install and run them on the same boot drive.

I have them running both on the same SSD drive. Works like a charm. Just make sure you create a separate FCP folder in the applications, where you drop your FCPX, compressor and motion in.
