Upgraded to QT Pro, now crash problems
Posted by Mick Bowman on December 2, 2005 at 12:37 pmI just upgraded to Quicktime Pro. Now, in Final Cut 3, when I try to export a sequence as
an MPEG-2, Final Cut crashes. OS is OS 10.4. Can anyone make a suggestion? Thanks.Jeremy Garchow replied 20 years, 5 months ago 3 Members · 3 Replies -

Are you trying to run QT 7 with Final Cut 3? That won’t work

December 2, 2005 at 1:19 pmYes, I am trying to use QT 7 w/FC 3. Got an iPod that required the QT upgrade.
Didn’t know it would sabotage my video editing.
Is there any way I can go beck to a lower QT version or do I have to
upgrade FCP to ver 4 (would rather not do this)?
Thanks -

December 2, 2005 at 3:53 pmYou can revert to quicktime 6.5 from quicktime 7, but you will lose your ipod functionality. It’d be best to upgrade to FCP5, that way, everything will stay up to date.
