Upgraded FCp, now not seeing deck
I just upgraded my system software to tiger and my FCP to FCP 6. Now it will not see the deck. The cpu sees it (I checked under about my mac) but FCP does not. I trashed the prefs, ran disk utility, nothing. Any ideas?
By the way I’m using a DSR 11 and a dual 1.25 gig mirror door mac.

Seriosuly, after installing FCP 6 I had to go into the settings in Easy Setup and re-initialise machine controls and compressors. FCP 6 seemed to have all sorts of things labeled as missing?? This was straight after install so no amount of trashing prefs will do as things seem not to be set in the Easy Setups in the first place.
Hunt around in the audio video settings tabs, particularly device control.

I’m sorry, what do you mean by “re-initialise machine controls” I checked under the device controls and it appears correct. DV-NTSC.
