Is anybody else using the Apace Vstor product? We have an older 2U Vstor that is built using 250 Gb drives for a small 1.5 Tb of total space. We’re wondering if we can put larger drives in. Wondering if we can put 2 Tb drives in or if the Vstor tops out at 1 Tb. We would copy everything off the vstor (and back it up on two drives!), put the larger drives in, and let it format them.

According to the Apace web site the 2U (V2100-2U8T) has: 8TB Raw Capacity (7TB net capacity), 2u 19” rackmount, 8 hot-swap HDDs, Dual GigE ports, RAID 5 and software.

So a 1TB HDDs would be your limit.
