    Upgrade to FCP 5.1.0 on a G4

    Can anybody tell me if it is possible to upgrade my current version of FCP (5.0.4) to 5.1.0 on a G4. When I insert the crossover disc the FCP option is greyed out and cannot be selected. The spec of my G4 is below:

    Model: PowerMac G4
    Memory: 1.75 GB
    Number of CPUs: 2
    CPU Speed: 867 MHz

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Are you 10.3.9 or above and quicktime 7 ?

    I am using the latest of both, I have sorted the problem now, turns out it was my graphics card that I needed to upgrade, but thanks for the post.
