  Upgrade Q’s: New 16″ MBpro or… what’s last/best MBpro year to buy used for FCPX?

  Hi, I would appreciate recommendations on best used MBpro model to upgrade to from my late 2013 15″ laptop. I don’t do heavy editing (mostly 1080p short projects) and have done alright with 16GB ram and 1TB storage. Wondering if upping to 32GB ram would make much difference.

  The new 16″ MBpro with 32ram and 1TB storage hits $3,000 before even getting into peripherals, dongles, etc.

  Any thoughts on which sites (OWC, etc) are best for buying used laptops from? Thanks!
