upgrade problems
Hi all-
I just upgraded our production suite (fcp 5 from 4.5) and everything seems to have slowed down a bit. FCP drops frames much more often. Waveforms in the timeline take forever to build. It’s just not as responsive as it was. Motion isn’t realtime anymore.I also upgraded to Tiger before the suite.
What did I do wrong? Can I fix this anoying problem.
System: Tiger – dual 2.5 – 4 gigs – Huge Systems U320 1tb

I answered you in the FCP forum. If you have DiskWarrior, it seems to help, on occasion, to run it more than once. I’d also try using a cache cleaner application like CockTail, Tiger Cache Cleaner or Cache Out X: https://www.versiontracker.com/php/search.php?PHPSESSID=19334706b5a11f007fad6dd380ffb145&mode=basic&action=search&str=cache&plt%5B%5D=macosx&x=17&y=3
