Upgrade from FCP 4.5 to 5.0?
I have been unable to find where I can download (for payment) FCP 5.0 in order to upgrade from FCP 4.5. for Mac G5. Any leads?

Thats because there is no download upgrade.
The best thing to do is take advantage of the crossgrade
https://www.apple.com/universal/crossgrade/
It will actualy give you 5.1
