I opened up FCPX only to find that one of my projects needed to be ‘upgraded’ to the latest build I’m running. The original was created in FCPX.
I clicked on “OK” and sat back….. after 15 mins I got up and made a cup of coffee for me, my staff and the postie; cleaned the kitchen, fed the dogs,…. well you get the idea.

I’ve killed it once before but it just seems to be taking an age for a a project that is less than 1 gig in size and not that complex when it comes to the editing and effects.

Am I to a point where I should trash my prefs or should I let the thing continue so I can continue with feeding the masses and cleaning?

    Puzzled but surprisingly full,

FCPX opened up, eventually. However, I now have a ‘no entry’ symbol over anything in the storyline, audio, compound clips, events etc.

I have relinked the events; relinked the project even checked the Modify Event References to make sure they are all pointed in the right direction.

    No joy.

    Anyone, please?

    I’m a bit confused.

    What’s the “latest build”?

    Sorry Jeremy,

    I meant to type 10.0.3.
