Updating Projects and Events from 10.0.9 in 10.4.3
I have installed FCPX 10.4.3, and before opening, I just read this on the Apple support page:
“Projects and events from Final Cut Pro X 10.0.9 and earlier cannot be updated for Final Cut Pro X 10.3 or later. Back up your files before you update. You should complete any active projects before you update.”
ALL of my movies were done in 10.0.9. Does this mean I won’t be able to open and edit ANY of these in the new version?

Apple does/did provide a trial of an older version of FCPX that could be installed and sit next to a current version of FCPX. In other words, you don’t have to uninstall one to install the other. That trial allows you to update the project and prep if for the newer version of FCPX going forward. Search their support pages for it. Also, check your other thread–I think someone may have left a link for it there.
