Updating CSV to update mogrt in Premiere

April 17, 2020 at 10:10 pmSo I’ve created a csv data powered graphic in After Effects that I created a motion graphic template from and added to a library for my editors. I was hoping that if they updated the csv file the change would be updated in the mogrt but that doesn’t seem to be the case. No matter what update I do to the csv file the template in Premiere doesn’t update. The whole point was for editors to stay out of After Effects so maybe I’m missing something here?

Did your editors import the updated csv file into the MOGRT again? You have to basically redo that with every update.

August 3, 2022 at 2:23 pmHello Christian, I realise your post is a bit older now, but I am facing a similar problem with a MOGRT, where I change the CSV file in the Essential graphics tab of premiere pro but no values are being updated. I, too, wanted to keep my editors out of after effects. Have you found a solution to this problem? Or a workaround? I’d be grateful to hear from your experience. Best regards, nick
