  • Updated Premiere 2017 CC and have no more presets on export?

Posted by James Carver on April 28, 2017 at 4:19 am

    I upgraded to Premiere 2017.1 CC v11.0

Today I noticed various things in my export settings are missing. I now only have 5 or 6 presets and other things are missing like I don’t have an option anymore to adjust the bitrate on the video output….

I’ve refreshed my plugin cache by holding down ALT/SHIFT on startup and I’ve also signed out of my cloud account and signed back in….I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled as well….anyone have any solutions to this?

My older 2015 version still has all my presets in working order however….is it a matter of moving files to certain directories?

    Hi James,

Not sure what went wrong there but you can import them manually. They are located at: Documents > Adobe > Adobe Media Encoder > (version you saved the in. e.g.: 11.0) > Presets

    1. Launch AME
    2. Navigate to the Preset Browser > Click the Import Presets button and group select all your presets

They will then be added to the User Presets & Groups list.

    Hope this helps!
