    Just rebuilt my system with a clean install of Tiger and a new install of Media 100i 8.2.3. SInce this now uses only software codec ( nothte SW version, I have a XR), do I need to install the Transcoder anymore for other programs to use Media 100 media?

    Media 100 iself used to need the Transcoder. If it does not automatically install with V8.2.3 you don
