update markers in nested compositions
hi folk,
another question 🙂 how can i update nested compositions ? when i add markers in an composition wich is nested into another the markers are not shown in the nesting host. that problem occures aswell for layer markers as for timeline markers. so i always have to drop out the nested layer and reimport it new – but tha is no solution especial when there are transformation keys in the nbested layer 🙁 hope on my stupidness and on your help 🙂

The only way to do it is using a script in AE 6.5
The program itself does not offer this functionality. (it only does it the first time as you mentioned)
Maybe there’s already a script to do this on aenhancers.com ?

Why not simply replace the comps by Alt-dragging them from the project window into the timeline? Does not always work reliably, but most of the time AE will successfully update all markers.
