up rezing to 24p SD to 1080i
So these guys want to up-convert their footage from 24p SD to 1080i for projection. Any helpful hints on plug-ins or creative ways to make this happen? Personally I don’t think it’s gonna work…

I’ve been testing a number of products to up rez a film I’m working on. The best product I’ve found is called Algosuite from Algolith (www.algolith.com). Less expensive is IHD from Red Giant Software. It’s also possible to do an excellent up Rez within the Cineform codec with their latest release (www.cineform.com). Algolith though more expensive has some excellent noise reduction and anti-aliasing. It also allows numerous scaling, frame rate conversions as well as de-interlacing and interlacing.
