    Hello everyone,

I’m fairly new to the Cinema 4D world. I can basically get around the software, but I can’t figure out what’s going on here. It seems like it’s a Global Illumination issue, but I’m not sure. I’ve added a GIF of one of the clips I exported. The way the scene is set up, there is a sky outside of the building with luminance, as well as 2 omni lights inside of the building (since the luminance of the sky wasn’t bright enough to light the inside of the building).

    I appreciate the help! Thanks

Yep, it sure looks like GI flickering. It’s a nuisance to deal with unless you use the QMC method, which takes forever to render. Unfortunately every scene is different so there’s no magic formula to solve the problem. My best advice is to read the help docs on GI settings and experiment until you get acceptable results.

while you are reading in the GI section make sure to check out GI Portals which are used to increase quality/decrease render times when lighting from outside to the inside.
