Unwanted flicker on Camera move
Hi Creative Cows!
I’m having a strange problem. I have a simple scene with an .AI file with fixed resolution unchecked. It’s black by default, and I’d like to color in motion. Also, the camera needs to drift slowly. For some reason, when I do this combination of things, the image flickers between light and dare randomly. And the flicker seems to be dependent on the camera’s motion but I don’t see why. The flicker is in the viewport, and in the exported file.

Do you have any why this is happening?

well i did get the flicker like you did. looking at the animation the buildings were black so i added an ambient light and found no problem. but when i deleted the light and added colorize the problem showed up.

i went to Group 1 and changed Position Z to a minus number and the flicker seemed to clear up.

Back in the days of Autodesk/Smoke i would have issues with the same flickering problem and it was always Z space so i just figured that was the culprit. I hardly ever use Motion so i had to hunt around for the cure.
