There is a line going down the center of a video that I don’t want there. I have no idea how it got there and I have no idea how to get rid of it. There are 11 events (clips) between two markers and all of these events have the line going down the middle. In this project there are over 30 markers and this is the only area where events have a center line. What did I accidentally do to insert the marker and what can I do to get rid of it? Here is a photograb of one of the events. Thanks in advance for your help.

You’ve inadvertently hit the split-screen button, causing the split-screen appearance. Toggle it off. You’ll find it near the preview.

    Split Screen View.
Its button is directly above the Preview Window.

Hmmm.. ? I don’t get a “Black” line on Preview. The 2 Areas are just revealed without a line:

I don’t think we know everything from our chum here yet.

Thanks for all the replies. My first thought was also the split screen button had been accidentally hit but then realized just like all of you there is no black line in split screen. So, just to rectify this I simply deleted everything between the two markers and reinserted the events. There is no centerline now.
I’ve been using versions of Sony Vegas Pro for probably 5 years and nearly on a daily basis and have never encountered this problem before. It’s a mystery to me that may never be answered.
Again, thanks for all your suggestions.
