    Hello,

I am learning to use different effects using the Pan/Crop tool. It seems whenever I apply any effect with this, I get strange waving(black) lines in the preview. Turn it off they are gone. Is this just a preview thing? If not, I won’t be able to use this powerful tool.

It should just be a preview thing due to your hardware having to work overtime to apply the pan/crop along with the effect on top of every pixel being displayed and the refresh rate of your monitor may play into it.

I would recommend you render out a small portion and veiw that file in a media player- not Vegas.
