I am working with text on a solid layer with a glow effect that cycles through color phase. While the text is stationary the kearning changes. I can stop this by eliminating the keyframes in the color phase and then put them back again. Eventually it happens again. Can someone point me in the “write” direction? Thanks!

It’s extremely unlikely that the kerning changes since effects would not affect it in any way. Like Dave said it’s an optical illusion – welcome to the world of perceptional phenomena. Most likely some of your text is eaten away/ expanded because of the bleed from the Glow. This makes the spaces appear smaller or wider. You can only minimize this by adjusting the intensity of the Glow, but it will never disappear entirely.

Thanks! The problem is so apparent that it LOOKS like the kearning is changing. I thought it could be a mathmatical issue with the color phase. It is way too apparent to accept however.
