  • Unstable HD Video Output with Decklink HDPro PCI-e

    Here is my set up:

    MacPro 2.66 GHZ – Mac OS 10.4.8 – FCP Studio – AE 7.0.1
    5gb RAM
    NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT
Decklink HD Pro PCIe with 5.9 Drivers

Basically the problem that I am having is that everything works great in SD but I can not get a stable output in any HD setting. My JVC HD monitor senses the proper output when I change settings but still all HD signals are unstable and can not be displayed (Both in FCP and AE). This is all over SDI.

Any thoughts, would love to get the HD output working!!!

    Thanks,

    Eric

Updated to the Decklink 5.9.2 Drivers, no help there, HD also does not work in Component mode either! ????

    Hi Eric,

Is the card in the top slot (slot 4) of the Mac Pro? If not try it there and make sure the “Expansion Slot Utility” located in “/System/Library/CoreServices” is set to profile number 2.

    regards

Thanks Kristian, that did the trick. Working now like a thing of beauty.

    Thanks again,

    Eric
