Ok im doing a video of just stills and a song with transitions, but every time i try 2 export it says “Error compiling movie. Unknown error.” I’ve tried adobe media encoder got half way through and said the same thing. Also i put the pictures on my desktop brought them into the project and the pictures will just disappear from the project or go black.

What version of Premiere? What is the resolution of the stills?
Are you exporting with the same aspect ratio as the Project Settings (4:3, 16:9)?

Click on the still in the Project Panel then look in the Info Panel for detailed info about the clip.

Be sure to have a look at reply #1 in this thread.

[Aaron Schultz] “im new to the program.”

You will find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro.

    Cheers
