  Uninstalling software – General advice.

  Hi all.

  I’m just trying to clear some space on my hard drive for Final Cut Pro. I have an older version on there (along with other apps like DVD Studio Pro etc.) but the installer doesn’t seem to acknowledge this or give me the option to uninstall.

  I also notice that things like Adobe’s CS2 suite has installed alongside the previous CS version.

  Can I just throw away the older apps to make space? If not, what’s the correct procedure? I know there are all sorts of preference files etc.
