I have an education version of CS5. I want to use the restore partition on the hard drive to get the machine back to ‘new’. I’m assuming that my installations are limited, so is there a specific way I need to uninstall the program so that I will be allowed to re-install it again? Or, do I just use Add-Remove programs.

If the Academic version is the same as standard (I think it is), the number of installations is not limited – the number of activations is.

Deactivate the software – no need to uninstall – you will have the option to re-activate it with the same product key once re-installed.
