  • Uniform Wiggle on Scale at random times and at random zoom speeds

    Hi All, spent some time lurking, time for my first post here.

    I want to be able to achieve a uniform scale (10 pixels in or out) at random occasions, but not continuously (say once every 5-10 secs), whilst randomizing the speed of each zoom.

    Here is what I have on the ‘scale’ transform so far:
    sx = wiggle(.07, 10)[0];
    s = Math.abs(sx);
    scale = [s, s];

    I do a lot of interviews with talking heads and want to use tasteful wiggles to make the static head-shots look a bit more dynamic. I find that doing a wiggle on the ‘position’ transformation is nice [i.e. wiggle(.7,15)], but would also like to add other dynamic stuff to reduce the monotony.
    Any other suggestions that don’t require a lot of manual keyframing would also be appreciated!

    Using AE & PP CC 2015 on a moderately speced home PC

    Many thanks in advance!

    Adam
