Unfolding/Origami effect….
Trying to rotate non uniform triangles is driving me mad.
I’m needing to fold out these triangles flush but the bounding box is not allowing me to do that.
I’ve tried masks and shape layers but am not really getting to far. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

I doubt if you have similar issues if you used a Shape Layer.
You may want to look at Paravent – https://www.motionboutique.com/paravent/. The caveat is that I think it only works with rectangular shapes.
