I’m having difficulties getting my scene to render properly with GI. I’ve read lots of forums, but havent resolved these burns/shadows that are left on the ground in the final render (not preview).

This link is my worst example of it, i’ve gotten slightly better results after changing render settings to “IR+QMC”, as well as adding an External Compositing Tag to the floor that unchecks “receive shadows”, but still have some artifacts. https://screencast.com/t/NDQ1YzE4MTM

It seems they are left over from objects that have skimmed by or impacted that area.

The scene has no lights, and the floor/sky are the same illuminated material.

    Any insight would be great.
    Thanks in advance.

It looks like GI is using a saved, single-frame cache file. Do you have autoload checked in the GI>Irradiance Cache tab?
