    Hello world!

I’ve long been informed and helped by Creative Cow questions and comments. This is my first real post though!

I’m looking to create a typographic animation that stretches out a line of editable text unevenly across the horizontal axis. So the beginning and end are of a relatively normal scale, but the middle of the type is greatly distorted. Unevenly is the best way I can discribe it but the reference picture should explain better (Ignore the gloopy melted effect I’m just after the scaling).

I’ve tried freeze-framing a time-displacement filter but I figured there might be a less hacky way / even some sort of expression?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance
