Is it possible to undersample rate on the track level. I’ve looked at Ultimate S as well but can’t see anything there.

[Roger Bansemer] “Is it possible to undersample rate on the track level.”

No, undersample is only an event property.

Here is how you would do it with Ultimate S Pro.

    1. Select all of the events that you want to undersample.
    2. Go to the Visual Effects tab
    3. Press Clear Page button (always a good idea)
    4. Set the Video Media Affected to Selected Tracks and Selected Events
    5. Check Change Event Properties to enable it
    6. Press the Reset button to ignore the switches
    7. Check Undersample rate to enable it an set the rate that you want.
    8. Press Apply

All of the selected events will be changed to that undersample rate. You can also do this with VASST Property Assistant.

Thanks John. I was thinking of doing a tilt/pan project using NewBlue rack focus and slowing down the sample rate to give the video an impression of a scale model. St. Augustine would be a good place for that but being higher up like from a building,it works best.

Sounds great. I’d love to see it when you’re done.
