undersample rate
Posted by Roger Bansemer on February 23, 2013 at 6:20 pmIs it possible to undersample rate on the track level. I’ve looked at Ultimate S as well but can’t see anything there.

No, undersample is only an event property.

Here is how you would do it with Ultimate S Pro.
- Select all of the events that you want to undersample.
- Go to the Visual Effects tab
- Press Clear Page button (always a good idea)
- Set the Video Media Affected to Selected Tracks and Selected Events
- Check Change Event Properties to enable it
- Press the Reset button to ignore the switches
- Check Undersample rate to enable it an set the rate that you want.
- Press Apply
All of the selected events will be changed to that undersample rate. You can also do this with VASST Property Assistant.

February 24, 2013 at 1:51 pmThanks John. I was thinking of doing a tilt/pan project using NewBlue rack focus and slowing down the sample rate to give the video an impression of a scale model. St. Augustine would be a good place for that but being higher up like from a building,it works best.

Sounds great. I’d love to see it when you’re done.
