Uncompressed HD without card
Hi, here is the question.
I have dual G5 2,7 and I had a blackmagic card installed. So in a easy setup I had an option to choose blackmagic 1080 50i 8 bit (as an example) using this setting and source files from a HUGE SYSTEMS raid I could edit in real time uncompressed 1920X1080 material.
Now I purchase a second mac. That is quad G5 and I have Xserver raid connected to it. But I don’t have blackmagic card on this machine. So in easy setup the only option for HD is DVCPRO HD. What is the solution here? I need to edit uncompresssed HD material in real time.
Please help me here.

Levan,
Load the Blackmagic codecs available on their website. One need not have one of their cards installed to use their software codecs.
