Someone please explain, why the same file comes up as two different formats.

“Uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2” in OSX 10.3.9 and “Apple ProIO vout v210 idmc” in OSX 10.4.2
    Both with QT7 and FCP5,

Called AppleCare “Professional Video Support” (which cost a grand) and as usual THEY DONT KNOW ANYTHING.
What Bullshit. Take your enrollment numbers and shove them up your ass.

v210 probably refers to the official fourcc of the codec. A bit more technical. It is like saying DV and DV24 411.

    pardon my outburst.

but with poor apple support, electrical shorting internal power supplies, tearing video frames, crashing apps, poorly manufactured ibooks, and a brand new g5 that has burned out its own dvd drive 3 times in a row now, its been a rough day.
