Unable to render video filetypes other than avi Cinema 4d R12
Hello there, I am working on a pretty basic animation in R12 and I am having a problem with the render settings. I have used 4d for a while now but it has been a few weeks since I did last and I have never come across this problem. I tried to do a simple render preview of my animation and so I went to change my render settings from a jpeg to a mov, but there wasn’t an option for any video renders except for an avi. Have I recently gone crazy? I could have sworn this was how I rendered it in the past. Thanks

It sounds like there’s a problem with your Quicktime install, which Cinema relies on for .mov compression.

Thank you, the problem was with quicktime. I reinstalled with the newest update and everything seems to be working now. Thank you very much
