Unable to relink video and audio – FCP
Anyone who has edited long on FCP has certainly had this problem- You are editing away in the time-line with linked source video and audio. After several edits of cutting, linking, un-linking, pasting, trimming etc. certain audio clips will NOT re-link to their perspective video clips. Does anyone know the reason for this and the fix?

you can force any audio and video clips to link from the drop down menu “Modify” to “Mark in Sync”. If it’s not doing it, you have a bug. Trash the prefs, repair permissions and all that other standard stuff.
