  Unable to import XDCAM or MXF to Premiere Pro CS5.5 mac

  Having difficulty importing XDCAM files copied from the SD cards that came off an EX3. We copied the entire folder structure to a firewire drive (had to give the SD’s back). When I try to use the Media Browser to point to the BPAV folder, PP does recognize there are files there, but then the files only contain audio. There’s no video.
  I can open the same folder using the XDCAM Browser, so I know the files aren’t damaged. For whatever reason, PP won’t read the video in the file. The icon on these files in PP is also showing only audio. Never seen anything like this.

  I also tried having the XDCAM browser export MXF versions of the files and PP still only recognizes these as audio only- there’s no video.
  There’s also no error message in PP when the import is happening. Very strange.

  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  Mac Pro 2.66 quad core w/4g ram, 2 500g, ATI 5770 GPU
  OSX 10.7.3, PP CS5.5 w/latest updates
