I did the search and due to the age of my BMD US4K (first gen), it’s hard to find anything with my issues.

Of late with R17.x and BigSur (2013 MP) I can’t figure out why my 4K DCI projects are showing 1:1 on the display (Eizo via HDMI).

I changed the output to HD in the system prefs but it’s still showing 1:1.

I can easily convert my projects to HD but I am certain I was able to do this prior to the recent updates.

    I could be wrong…

I’ve been burned many times with BMDs DV updates.

I will need to dig in and see where I am.

    Thanks for the tip.

Aargghh..the definition of insanity has happened again with Desktop Video updates 😛

I was on 12.1 working fine (except for my issue mentioned above) on Big Sur 2013 MP D700.

Installed 12.2.2 no dice. I get the “No Desktop Video Device Detected” error in System Prefs.

Un-installed and went back to 12.1 and that works.
So I got cute (def of insanity) and went and did the 12.2 route thinking it’ll step me up to 12.2./

    I was wrong 😛

Looks like Ill be staying put with my US4K at 12.1.

Found a fix and I should have dug deeper.

Under Image Scaling in Prefs was the key.

Why I need to have that separate from Video Monitoring (Master Project Settings) is baffling.
